NEW 2026
This talk covers a wide range of camera settings, explaining when and why to use each one.
We start with shooting in Auto mode and progress to more advanced features like Camera Focus Shift Shooting.
It's aim is to demonstrate to both novice and seasoned photographers the full potential of their cameras
New Photographers might find getting started with their first DSLR daunting due to the numerous settings to understand
I will try to guide them through these settings, explaining each one so they can confidently select the most suitable options for various scenarios
Experienced Photographers often focus on a specific genre and utilize only a limited range of their camera’s settings
My goal is to remind these photographers about the various settings they can access and to enhance their overall understanding of their equipment
For practical purposes, I will primarily focus on the Nikon range of cameras
This is due to 50 years of experience using Nikon cameras, giving me a solid understanding of them
Covering every popular camera brand in detail would make this talk overly long and tedious
Fortunately, most modern cameras share similar features, making it easy to apply the information to your own camera brand
