TESTIMONIALS 2026
14 September 2026 - "Where I Photograph British Wildlife" - Kidlington Camera Club
Thank you for your excellent talk last night - much enjoyed by all the members I spoke to during and after the event. Its good to hear such a well prepared talk, with all the information that a camera club audience likes to hear - dates, lens details, camera settings, and most importantly the suggestions you had for various wildlife reserves, not to mention such good quality images. I saw several members making notes - so you obviously struck a chord with them and they will be visiting some of the locations you mentioned.
We particularly appreciate that you had quite a drive to come to speak to us in person, and I hope that the return trip wasn’t too fraught with closed roads, etc. Alana Chairman and Treasurer, KCCPG
9 September 2026 - "Where I Photograph British Wildlife" - Deeping Camera Club
Many thanks for your talk and for coming to Deepings last night. We all very much enjoyed seeing your images and have inspired us to go to some of the locations you talked about. Kind regards Tracy

17 February 2026 - "Where I Photograph Great Britain" - Cleethorpes Camera Club
Hello Malcolm, on behalf of our Club Chairman George, and all the members present on Tuesday evening, I write to thank you for a very interesting and informative evening of excellent photography. The technical details available, unobtrusively, for extra information was much appreciated and helpful. I think everyone saw places unknown previously that would be good to visit. It was a good tour around the UK, with interesting information included. So, most sincerely, thank you for your time and generosity in so many ways. From Olga Short
13 January 2026 - "My Lockdown Garden" - Duston Camera Club
I hope you and Irene had a good journey home last night.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the talk. Some of the comments I had from the members were "inspirational, I must spend more time in my garden", "very interesting, lots of things I didn't know", and "great talk, very interesting, with lots of humour". I think I can safely say we will see more garden birds in future competition entries. I noted that you used f11 in many of your butterfly shots - I must try that as I rarely get the whole thing in focus.
Looking forward to seeing you both again in March.
